Folks and Sparrows

Location: 14 rue Saint Sebastien // 11ème

Hours: Tuesday - Sunday: 10h - 18h

Tucked away on a quiet street in the 11th arrondissement is an idyllic spot for café meets épicerie meets concept store Folks and Sparrows.

Whilst sitting against the cream stone wall I admired the minimalistic interior; rustic wooden chairs and tables decorated with wild flowers. Despite every seat but one taken, even on a Sunday afternoon there is a certain tranquility to the café. Folk music plays on old Marshall Stanmore speaker, setting the perfect scene for coffee, cake and a catch up with friends, or simply a place to read a book on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Come for coffee, sandwiches or cake (notably cheesecake) and admire the carefully selected goods that make up the épicerie. Folks and Sparrows very own mugs, candles and ‘Good Vibes Only’ tote bags are also on offer. The sandwiches, to eat in or takeaway are wrapped up in brown paper packages and tied up with string and the daintiest flower - which look almost too good to eat (but do eat them.) They are truly made with peace and love in a place that is for good vibes only.
