Bourchra Khalili: Foreign Office

18 February – 17 May, 2015

Palais de Tokyo // 13, avenue du Président Wilson 16ème

Foreign Office is brought to us by the award winning contemporary artist Bouchra Khalili spanning the years from 19621972 after Algeria's independence. The exhibit at Palais de Tokyo features her photography and a captivating film wherein two young adults from present day Algeria are challenged to recount and connect with their country's history. The photographs provide an interesting perspective on the places sustaining the revolutionary movement and the film prods our young brains to connect with the forgotten past.
