Palpable Glyphic Rapture

Location: Galerie Nathalie Obadia/ 18 rue du Bourg Tibourg

End date: March 14

Galerie Nathalie Obadia is one of the more striking spaces I’ve been in. The ceilings are wonderfully high, and Jessica Stockholder’s exposition looks very much at home there. Her sculptures consist of anything from Tupperware bins to antique-looking rugs to mirrors smeared with paint. Many of the works involve parts that are suspended from the ceiling, and the space certainly lends itself to that. The title of the expo truly says it all; Palpable Glyphic Rapture is just as strange and whimsical as it sounds.
