Télescope

5, Rue Villedo PARIS 1

Monday to Friday: 8h30 – 17h

Saturday: 9h30 – 18h30

On the side streets of Avenue de l'Opéra in the Japanese section of Paris, you will find Télescope tucked away on Rue Villedo. This quaint cafe offers a simple menu, with a selected variety of coffee. I ordered a filter, which for Télescope means Aeropress (my new favorite). Three choices are offered. At the time it was Rwandan, Ethiopian or Costa Rican. I have had the Ethiopian and Rwandan and they are both spectacular! There is a light and pleasant burst of flavor in each and every sip. The café crême was offered in a single or light (for those who don't favor the strength of espresso), made with a single blend espresso from Kenya. This cafe has no internet, so this is not a study lounge. It is however the perfect place to grab a delicious cup of coffee with a friend.

Also, for 9,5 euros you get freshly squeezed OJ, a toasted baguette with jam, and a coffee. Great breakfast place? I think so!
