Un Automne Japonais

By: Matilde Navarro

Location: Bibliothèque Crimée / 42 rue Petit 75019

Last Day: November 27

Through the end of November, Bibliothèque Crimeé is paying tribute to Japanese culture by celebrating both its traditions and modernity. The exhibition features books, prints, masks and origami figurines alongside manga and kawaii.

Through this exhibition you can rediscover manga, introduce yourself to origami, fall into a video game, or immerse yourself in tales populated by samurai and ghosts, foxes and cranes...

We also invite you to discover contemporary Japanese illustration through the work of Komako Sakai, who returns us with gentleness and sensitivity to the world sof our childhood.

Also at Bibliothèque Crimée on Saturday November 22nd at 10 am, children aged three and up can enjoy a show by Hiromi Asai. With grace, delicacy, and humor, a Kamishibai storyteller takes us on a journey through ancient times. (Don't forget to make a reservation!)
